Complete & Comprehensive Exams

Making regular visits to your dentist is important for maintaining good dental health and a healthy smile. For most patients, cleanings are recommended every six months. This helps keep your teeth and gums healthy. During regular exams, we will inspect your mouth for signs of tooth decay or gum disease, clean and polish your teeth, screen for oral cancer, remove plaque and tartar and more.

These routine visits help us monitor how well your at-home dental routines are working, as well as help us recognize if anything serious is developing. After each cleaning, we sit down with our patients to talk about their dental needs and wants and offer advice on the best treatment options. Our goal is to help you achieve and maintain great health.

Fillings

After tooth decay has been removed, composite or tooth colored fillings are used to replace the affected tooth structure. The new material fills the hole the decay left. A composite filling provides teeth with improved color, strength, and stability. We carefully match the filling material to your existing tooth structure. Composite material can also be used to cover up stains and correct gaps or cracks in teeth.

Dentures

Dentures may be a good option for patients who want to restore a natural looking, healthy smile after losing teeth. Complete dentures are used for patients missing all of their teeth. Partial dentures are available to those who retain some of their natural teeth. Both types are custom made to fit comfortable and snugly within your mouth and can help restore beauty, function, and health to a patient’s smile. In addition, it can help restore the ability to speak and eat. Properly placed dentures help prevent facial sagging.

Mini Implants

If you are missing teeth, dental implants provide a great restorative dental option. Mini implants are less invasive than traditional dental implants. This means the healing time is greatly reduced and you will require less visits to the dentist’s office. It also allows you to have crowns, dentures, or bridges placed in your mouth immediately.

Using 3D Imaging, we can create a digital treatment plan for your implants. A mini implant provides the same great benefits as a traditional dental implant, but costs less, does not require as much bone structure, and is about half the size of regular implant. Children’s Dentistry

One of our main goals is to provide comfortable dental care for patients of all ages. When treating children, we focus on helping them develop positive associations with the dentist. We work to help them develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming and friendly environment for children and their families.

Extractions

Extracting permanent teeth that are significantly damaged can, in some cases, help return you to optimal health. After discussing your various treatment options with your dentist and deciding on an extraction, you and your doctor will determine the best way to replace the tooth. This prevents problems with the surrounding teeth.

Root Canals

When a cavity has reached the pulp of a tooth, root canal therapy is necessary. It may also be required if you have experienced severe trauma to your tooth as well. Regular visits to the dentist can prevent the need for endodontic treatment, but once the pulp has been infected, it must be treated. Your body is unable to heal this type of infection itself, so you must get it treated to avoid future problems.

If you have a sensitivity to hot or cold foods and liquids, pain and swelling, or have a bad taste in your mouth, you may have an infected pulp. In some cases, patients are unaware of a problem until they are at a routine visit with their dentist.
